Crisp Wireless announced the official release of version 1.0 of the mLogic MicroSite Builder, a tool that enables mobile publishers and advertising agencies to quickly create mobile websites for advertisers.

All sites created using the MicroSite Builder tool will benefit from Crisp Wireless proprietary technology platform mLogic, which offers device detection utilizing a device database of over 3500 phones, website optimization and automatic reformatting of content for viewing on mobile displays. Additionally, all sites built using MicroSite Builder benefit from detailed reporting capabilities, including the number of unique visitors, pageviews, time spent and opt-in data including emails and phone numbers.

Initially released as a beta version in March, the development tools have been tested by The Weather Channel Mobile, which was the exclusive beta customer of the MicroSite Builder. Louis Gump, vice president, mobile The Weather Channel Interactive, explained: "The MicroSite Builder tool empowers our team to consult advertisers on developing a mobile website beyond a text page with a click-to-call link. We're helping brands develop a presence on mobile devices and driving traffic to these promotional sites through advertising on our mobile web site."

Crisp Wireless powers mobile websites for major media companies, print and web publishers that currently sell or plan to sell advertising on their mobile websites. Some of Crisp Wireless' customers include USA Today, Hachette Filipacchi, Time Inc., Internet Broadcasting Systems and Bravo.

"Mobile advertisers now have more sophisticated needs and want their ads to link to a rich microsite with a deeper level of interaction than a simple landing page can offer," said Olivier Griot, managing director, mobile for Hachette Filipacchi. "We have worked with Crisp Wireless to create these mobile destinations for some of our advertisers, which included click to call, email and sms opt-ins. We were impressed with how quickly the sites were created and deployed and more important, our advertising clients were pleased with the results."
