US-based carrier Cricket Wireless has just announced lots of changes to its plans, which will offer customers more choices and greater flexibility.

For example, all Android smartphone plans now include Cricket’s Muve Music service. In addition, the new plans offer more full-speed data options.

Last but not least, the carrier now offers enhanced international calling plans that allow subscribers to turn any plan into an international calling plan.

Our new rate plans enhance the choices available to our customers and are unique not only in no-contract wireless, but among postpaid offerings as well,” said Doug Hutcheson, president and chief executive officer.

The new rate plans will be available to customers beginning September 2 via Cricket’s brick and mortar locations, as well as authorized dealers. They will start at $35 and $45 per month for feature phones and offer unlimited nationwide talk and text.

On the other hand, the new smartphone rate plans start at $50 for unlimited talk, text and 3G data plus 1GB of full-speed data per month.

Keep in mind that the new $60 smartphone plan contains 2.5GB of full-speed data per month, while the new $70 smartphone plan offers 5GB of full-speed data per month.

It is also worth mentioning that both $60 and $70 plans offer subscribers the possibility to tether their devices to share their internet connection to additional wireless devices.

We understand our customers' data needs and these new plans give customers the flexibility to select the right usage plan at a great value with the option to buy additional full-speed data when their needs change. In addition, our Muve Music service will be included for no additional cost in all Android rate plans so even more customers can experience the enjoyment of high-quality unlimited music downloads. All together, we believe these new plans bring value-packed features into the mainstream of wireless services for all Cricket customers,” added Hutcheson.
