One of the most popular pre-paid smartphones in the States, Huawei Honor, or Huawei Mercury for Cricket customers, has just become more popular.

The carrier has just announced the Huawei Mercury now supports its highly acclaimed and multi-awarded Muve Music service.

This is the fifth Cricket device that is fully compatible with this service, as the carrier previously launched the Huawei Ascend II, Samsung Vitality, ZTE Score and the ZTE Chorus.

Starting today, Muve Music service is now available to all existent Huawei Mercury customers via an OTA (over the air) download. However, new Huawei Mercury owners will have to wait a bit more for the service to become available to them.

Given the fact that the update is pushed OTA, Cricket customers who own the Huawei Mercury will be automatically notified that the upgrade is available. Then, they will be able to download it over Cricket's 3G network or over a Wi-Fi connection.

Those who are not familiar with Muve Music should know that this is one of the first unlimited music services to be included as part of a wireless rate plan.

For the time being, there are more than 500,000 customers who subscribed to the wireless plan that offers Muve Music service as well.

With Muve Music plan subscribers will be able to download an unlimited number of songs, ringtones, and ringback tones from a catalog of more than five million songs.

The same Muve Music plan offers customers unlimited nationwide calling, text, picture, video messaging and 3G mobile data for just $65 per month.

Muve Music is one of the fastest growing music services in the U.S. and we believe Muve Music on the Mercury will further accelerate its growth and continue enhancing Cricket's appeal to music lovers everywhere,” said Jeff Toig, senior vice-president, Muve Music for Cricket.
