Bradford Exchange came up with the idea to honor the royal family with a hand-painted creation, perfectly resembling the royal baby that would be a hit at Christmas time, even if the replica could come out looking kind of creepy.

The Prince George doll is made from porcelain, it has limbs that can move, fair hair and it is dressed in a very detailed replica of the outfit the baby wore at his christening celebration. The doll holds the price tag of $211 (€154) and is dubbed the “Prince of Cambridge Commemorative Baby Doll.”

The royal toy is the work of artist Fiorenza Biancheri from the Stoke-on-Trent company in Staffordshire, and the first line of dolls is already sold out. Royal Family fans are piling up to get their hands on the creepy looking doll that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity form, so that the prince's look-alike won't become counterfeit.

“I love the royal family very much. They make our country what it is – proud and extremely envied. He [the Prince George doll] will be an absolute delight and a welcome addition to our family,” Jane Smith, one of the people looking forward to buying the doll said, according to Daily Mail.

The demand for the doll has been surprisingly high, “the interest we have received for the Prince of Cambridge Commemorative Baby Doll has been immense - so much so that we have had to make sure we will have enough hand-crafted dolls in January to meet the demand,” a spokesman from Bradford Exchange said.

The porcelain replica comes to honor the newest member of the royal family and the amount of details put into designing the doll is astonishing. The artist, Fiorenza Biancheri is a renowned artist and sculptor and puts a special touch to the item.

Even if the prince was a bit mocked after being christened in a dress, the gown was incredibly special being a replica after the traditional Royal Christening Robe designed for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter. Prince George's dress was crafted by the Queen's own couturier and it looked wonderful, with details made out of Honiton lace and white satin.
