A hacker that uses the online moniker OxAlien claims to have breached the systems of Israel-based website Mac-it (mac-it.co.il). Mac-it is said to be among Israel’s largest Apple-related forums.

The details of over 13,000 forum users have been leaked online. According to HackRead, the leaked data consists of usernames, password hashes, and email addresses.

The password hashes are easy to crack. In fact, over 10,600 of them have already been published in clear text.

HackRead has confirmed the legitimacy of the data. However, I haven’t found any alerts from the website’s administrators regarding the breach. Hopefully, they’ll reset all user passwords to prevent them from being misused.

OxAlien says he has targeted the Israel-based forum as part of the OpFreePalestine and OpBoycottIsrael campaigns. “Long Live Palestine, Long Live Gaza!” the hacker said.
