The place where all secret devices that arrive in the US are disclosed to the public (yes, we're talking about the FCC here) has provided us with yet another interesting surprise, revealing the fact that Creative's ZiiO 10-inch Android tablet will arrive on the US market in the near future.

Following in the footsteps of its 7-inch sister (also spotted at the FCC a while ago), the 10-inch ZiiO offers plenty of interesting features for tablet owners, including here the ZiiLABS ZMS-08 HD Media-Rich Applications Processor, accompanied by a 1024 x 600 pixels, 262k color TFT, Resistive Touch display, used for controlling the Android 2.1 operating system the device comes pre-loaded with.

The tablet is available in two different storage versions (8GB and 16GB, respectively), and features a Bluetooth 2.1 EDR (with apt-X & A2DP) module, as well as IEEE 802.11 b/g networking.

Additionally, the ZiiO packs a VGA camera, built-in microphone and speaker, an accelerometer, built-in microphone and speakers, X-Fi Audio Enhancements (Crystalizer, that intelligently restores lost details and enhances digital audio content to high levels of clarity, and X-Fi Expand, that amplifies sound in movies and games), while also providing support for SD memory cards up to 32GB.

Quite obviously, its internal configuration helps it play a wide array of multimedia files, including here MP3, AAC, WMA9, FLAC, OGG, MIDI, WAV, Audible Format audio files, H.264, MPEG4, WMV9, MOV, AVI, MKV video files, not to mention the fact that it allows users to view photos in JPG, BMP and PNG formats.

As the guys over at Crunchgear (who've also come up with the FCC photos point out, it's quite good thing to know that the ZiiO tablet will arrive in the US, although the fact that pricing and availability details have not yet been provided is sort of disappointing.
