It can work with PCs, Mac systems and even PlayStation 4 consoles

Gaming headphones are always both highly capable and good-looking, but the new ones from Creative go a bit beyond the norm in terms of audio sensitivity and clarity.

You see, the 40 mm Full Spectrum audio drives found in the on-ear ear cups have a sensitivity of 115 dB/mW, meaning that they reproduce every little sound in a virtual environment.

Explosions will sound like, well, explosions instead of just loud noises, and gun reloads should come across well, even with that small echo of theirs. Same for sword clashes and the like. It depends on the game.

The ear cups probably won't make your earlobes hurt because they are soft, cloth-cushioned. Also, the headband should add to the comfort. Still, some people just don't handle on-ear headphones (where the pads press on the lobes instead of circling around them, like circumaural ones), so think twice before buying the SB Inferno if you're among them.

Moving on, the Creative headset has in-line volume controls (as expected), as well as analog connectivity (hence support for gaming devices like PS4).

Other specs that you may or may not find relevant include 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 32 Ohms. Needless to say, the Creative SB Inferno (priced at $49.99 / €49.99) also has a microphone, with 100Hz~15kHz frequency response, <2.2kohms impedance, -40dBV/Pa sensitivity. In layman terms, it will catch everything you say and not burst into static.
