Creative is expected to release a new product later this week, on September 17, which is exactly two days from now. Unfortunately, for the time being, there are no technical details available, although it looks like it is going to be part of the company's X-Fi lineup.

The manufacturer certainly wanted to create some hype around the upcoming model, which is why it has released this flyer meant to promote the September 17th event. We can't tell for certain what the new product will be meant for, but there's a high probability that it will come out as a new external sound card. However, until the company decides to officially unveil some info on its much anticipated release, we are only left speculating, especially since there are no leaked technical details or images of the product.

In related news, it looks like Creative has already introduced a new model from its lineup, one that is already in stock and available for shipment, through the company's website. We aren't sure if the new product, listed on the manufacturer's website, is in fact the one that Creative is set to launch later this week. However, we can tell you that the new PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium looks pretty similar to the company's current X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series, minus a few details.

Unlike the Fatal1ty-branded card, the new X-Fi Titanium is part of the SoundBlaster series and doesn't feature the EMI shield; furthermore, according to its listed specifications, it looks like it has no X-RAM. However, for a price tag of $99 (compared to the $199.99, for the Fatal1ty-branded one), you will be able to purchase a sound card that supports up to 7.1-channel speaker configuration and comes with EAX HD Advanced 5.0, CMSS-3D, Dolby Digital Live encoding, optical S/PDIF in and out. In addition, the new model is bundled with PowerDVD software featuring DTS and Dolby Digital-EX decoding.
