New stereo loudspeakers for a tidier desktop and more listening pleasure

Just how many times have you cursed and sighed in front of your overburdened desktop, full of papers and pens, on and under your keyboard and mouse... and seeing the speaker cables cluttering like a snakepit only made things worse? Well, it seems like the guys at Creative have already grown sick with this kind of experiences and have decided to take action and offer you a very simple solution.

[admark=1]Well, no, it's not the Creative desktop cleaning and ordering robot, but it's all about loudspeakers, in the body of the Creative GigaWorks HD50 sound system. The Creative GigaWorks HD50 is a stereo set running with two small-scale powered loudspeakers, which are able to offer you surprisingly good results no matter whether you'll have them working with an MP3 player, desktop or laptop systems, for movie-watching or for presentation purposes: they're a pair of all-around speakers capable of bringing high-definition audio in your office without needing too much from your precious space and requiring minimal setup and installation fuss.

The Creative GigaWorks HD50 can drive a massive sound whose maximal power reaches 18W, way more than enough you'll ever need in an office (except for the cases when you'll be throwing a wild techno party); the great audio quality comes from two major sources. First of all, these speakers are bi-amped, using a 7W amplifier for highs and an 11W amp for the low-frequency section. The tweeters are made from Titanium while the woofers have concave cones and rubber surround for enhanced efficiency with minimal size.

The front dial offers easy and quick access to control the volume, while a bright blue LED indicates whether the speakers are on or not. Still, no word on pricing and specs, such as frequency response and THD.
