The Zen player is already a popular device

For reasons unknown and apparently without any connection, soon after hitting Amazon, Creative cuts the price tag for its Zen players. There is no inside info on that, yet.

But, what better reason would they possible have, except trying to keep up with Apple's cool showtime. The company had previously cut prices on their hot Zen V and Zen Vision W players, so this isn't their first such initiative.

The versions that are going to wear new tags are the 4GB and the 16GB Zens. The 4GB player has sunk from 149.9 bucks to 129.9 on both Amazon and the company's own webstore. The 16 GB model has also dropped from 300 bucks to 249.99. Weird thing is that the 8GB version remains with the same tag of 199.99 bucks a pop.

To remind you of a few details from Zen's specification list, I should tell you that it sports a size smaller than a credit card, a nice 2.5 inch TFT screen display and compatibility with most of the file formats available on the market, such as MP3, WMA, as well as AAC and more.

Additional features include an FM radio, a voice recorder, a cool and user-friendly interface, as well as an expandable memory slot. And there is even more, like the great set audio effects option or the full 25 hours of music and the 5 hours of movies it can provide.

It can even keep you well organized, as it features synchronization with Microsoft Outlook or Creative media Explorer.

The best thing of all is the wide range of accessories you can find to customize this baby, starting with the classy leather case or the acoustic and ergonomic precision in-ear earphones it can work with. So, how could anyone refuse it? Don't look at me! I like Samsung better!
