14 DAY TRIAL // Developer The Creative Assembly seems to be getting ready for an official announcement for its much rumored Aliens-based video game project, as two images linked to the game briefly appeared on its official Twitter feed.
Initially, the company offered a look at a crash test dummy who was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the logo of the Nostromo, the ship from the original Aliens movie, as seen by CVG.
That image has since been removed but the replacement also seems to be designed to tease an Alien video game because it shows the cryo tubes associated with the franchise.
Rumors about the Aliens video game from The Creative Assembly appeared during 2012, but it is currently unclear whether the company will create a straight-up action experience or something that moves closer to its strengths, strategy gaming.
The most recent Aliens game, Gearbox’ Colonial Marines, was widely panned by critics.
