Earlier today we reported on Creative's latest addition to its Pure Wireless Entertainment series of devices, the ZiiSound T6 speaker system, but this isn't the only product the Singapore-based company is releasing as part of this line, the WP-300 Bluetooth headphones also making their appearance.

Compatible with a wide series of Bluetooth enabled products such as, notebooks, smartphones, touch screen tablets as well as Apple's iPad and iPhone devices, these headphones feature neodymium drivers and have an effective wireless range of up to 10 meters (if no obstacles are placed between them and the connected device).

Of course that Creative's apt-X Bluetooth technology is also included, so these will deliver improved sound when used with other apt-X enabled products such as the Android packing Zen Touch 2 portable media player, released not that long ago.

Furthermore, these headphones feature some pretty easy to access earcup buttons for basic music control and volume adjustment, Creative bundling the WP-300 with a soft travel pouch in order to accommodate the headphones once they are folded.

Creative also states they designed the WP-300 to provide you with an improved comfort even during long hours of extended wear, the ear cushions being fabricated out of soft leatherette.

"This also further solidifies Creative’s standing as the only company to offer a full comprehensive range of wireless solutions, from one-piece speakers, to multi-channel Surround Sound speakers, to headphones, to wireless entertainment devices and to touch screen tablets,” said Ting Lai Chu, Vice President for the Advanced Multimedia Group at Creative.

Now everyone will be able to have a house full of entertainment instead of a house full of wires," concluded the company's rep.

Although announced, the WP-300 Bluetooth Headphones are not available right now, but, once released, they will feature a pretty hefty £89.99 (about $145 US) price tag.
