A realistic space sim promises to bring us more than any other game

NASA is getting more and more into video games and we truly hope that it won't completely change its business, even though we really like its projects so far: a Second Life island, plans for a MMO and collaborations with other development companies in the field. Its latest and biggest deal has been made with Avanquest Software for a game called Space Station Sim, which is going to hit retail stands sometime during next month.

However, it's not only NASA who worked with Avanquest for the title, but the Japanese Space Administration, too, which means that we might have the most realistic space sim game ever. At least, that's what I'm expecting. So... as the name suggests, you'll have to manage the creation of an international space station and be sure that everything goes as planned - everything at 17,500 miles per hour.

The player will become one of the Chief Administrators of NASA and you will have to use real NASA modules in order to create its space ship. Also, you'll have to customize the interior of the ship with entertainment areas, crew areas and, of course, life support ones. You will also be the one responsible for creating the crew, then manage and improve their abilities, activities and personal relationships.

Even though you have thousands of different construction configurations which can be built and no matter how good your space ship is, unexpected problems can always arise, such as: micro meteor strikes, decompression and problematic tourists smuggled onboard by the Russians. But you'll be skilled enough to solve all the problems, right?

You'll see if you do this June, on your PC system only.
