Business quoting just got easier with a new update from Light Studios. The Brisbane, Australia-based company is announcing version 1.1 of its Quick Quote application for iPad, an update that brings a range of international settings for the growing Quick Quote community.

Light Studios’ Stephen Limkin, Feedback from users helped create a quoting system that suits international business markets, including increased flexibility for tax and currency settings.
"By providing a business quoting app which was quick, easy and accurate, we could harness technology and equip people with the tools they need to grow their business," he said.
"Too often, business quoting can take an inordinate amount of time, and the end result isn't always as professional as it should be," said Stephen.
"We want to help connect opportunities with outcomes, by providing a business quoting system which allows users to provide timely, professional quotes."
A powerful, customizable iPad application that allows users to create and follow up quotes accurately, quickly and professionally, QuickQuote is designed by business for business, according to Light Studios.
Key features include an intuitive, yet professional user interface, ease of use, integration with existing quotes as Quick Quote permits choosing your own starting quote number, a discrete discount option, the ability to email quotes directly to clients in PDF format, complete with company logo and custom text, and more.
The latest version of Quick Quote brings all-new international settings including the ability to choose the currency and change the tax name displayed in the quote, and turn applicable taxes on and off per item and by default.
Dates now follow country specific formatting, and fixed Items now allow decimal quantity, according to Light Studios.
Priced at $17.99, Quick Quote is only compatible with the Apple iPad and requires iOS 3.2 or later.
