14 DAY TRIAL // Developer WSL Apps has just announced the availability of its Superhero Creator 1.0 application for the iPhone and iPod touch. Superhero Creator is not a game per se, but it can be a good source of fun times.
The application targets comic book enthusiasts, gamers, superhero movie fans, as well as anyone who’s looking for a fun and simple to use application.
Superhero Creator lets users create their own superheroes, by using a wide range of tools to customize the superhero look and powers.
Here’s a quick rundown of what is included in the application:
Superhero Creator features many parts and costumes, with each part having many color schemes to choose from, thus giving users unlimited variations and combinations. Thanks to this deep customization system, it will be less likely to get two superheroes alike.
Each superhero can be provided with abilities, traits and powers such as energy beams, weather manipulation, telekinesis and many more. To immerse even deeper in the application, users will also be able to decide on the location of their character's headquarters.
After all the customization is finished, users will be able to test their hero's super powers and abilities against increasing waves of robots in a special training room.
Fans of comic books or anyone who likes this kind of fun will be able to build up their own universe of heroes, either good or bad. Also, each character can be given a background story.
Obviously, as this is not a game, there's no multiplayer mode, but all superheroes can be shared between friends through the e-mail function.
Superhero Creator is compatible with iPhone or iPod touch devices running iOS 3.0 or later (iOS 4.0 included) and requires 15.3 MB of storage space.
