Aaron Golden is offering his awesome Gravity Lab app for free in the Mac App Store. His offer was supposed to expire on February 1, but apparently he forgot to hang up the purchase price.

So hurry up and grab it while you can! If you’re interested in how objects move about in empty space, this simple tool is perfect! You can even make your own planetary systems and give them a nudge to see how they would be have, had they been real.

Aaron explains: “Gravity Lab is a Newtonian gravity simulator. Experiment with the built in planetary systems or create your own systems from scratch. See what happens when you double the mass of the Sun or modify the gravitational constant of the universe!”

You need OS X 10.7 (Lion) for this one, and pretty much any Mac from 2006 onwards. Download Gravity Lab now, before the “free” sign goes away!
