Crazy Train Britney: More About Drugs and Red Lights

- Just another crazy day

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Remember a couple of days ago I was telling you about how the Britster had failed a drug test? Yes, well, it's all true, and here comes the madness that I was predicting at the time: in a surprise move (joke) Brit is currently blaming the court-ordered urine sample which returned a positive reading last week on the prescription drugs she is currently taking and – hold on to your pants – her asthma
inhaler.

Feel free to laugh as much as you please. I sure did, for lots of reasons. First of all, Britney doesn't have asthma, she smokes. A lot. Then, hearing Brit Brit deny illegal substance abuse (and claiming that the only drugs she has been taking have been prescribed by the court doctor) is like having Pete Doherty tell you that he's in fact snorting powdered sugar. And finally, can you imagine Britney actually taking some responsibility for the things she does?

"The only thing that comes on the results are the prescriptions, that the court doctor prescribed. There has been no illegal drugs or even alcohol in any of the test results", a pro-Brit source states. As if! Meanwhile, K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan is considering whether to subpoena gossip site TMZ and have them hand over footage of Britney running a red light with her sons in the car. Well, if you thought the part about denying drug use was funny, just wait until you hear what Brit will have to say about this one. Let's see. Running a red light...could it have been because she's colorblind and thought red was in fact green? Yes, that must be it.

Kaplan however is a much more down to earth person. Actually, he is hoping to use the video to support his request for Britney to be banned from driving while her children are in the vehicle. Britney – who lost custody of Sean Preston, two, and 14-month-old Jayden James to ex hubby K-Fed after missing tests – is currently allowed two monitored daytime visits with her sons and one overnight stay. But I have a feeling that will be over soon. Wait till you hear the excuse for that one…
