The man featured in the video thought it would be nice to entertain the community

Moving into a new house usually means you have to introduce yourself to your new neighbors, and, while many of us would like to know the people next door, there isn't always time to meet.

So, instead of going door to door or planning a party to introduce himself, the man featured in the video below found an ingenious way to make his presence felt – by serenading the entire neighborhood.

When Patrick Bailey moved into his new home, he probably thought it would be nice to entertain the community and win their sympathy by giving a free concert on his driveway.

So, when his wife left town, he set up a speaker system and serenaded the nearby residents with a cover of Ugly Kid Joe's song “Neighbor.”

Maybe not all his neighbors were delighted by his crazy initiative, especially those who work night shifts, but we must admit that the man does have impressive vocalizing skills.

The fact that prior to his performance he mentions that his wife is not in town suggests that the woman would never approve such an insane idea, but, surprisingly, the rest of his family seems to stand by him during the act.

Watch his performance below and tell me what your reaction would be if he were your neighbor. Would you applaud him or throw eggs at him?
