This is to be done by an all-stock swap acquisition

A small company that goes by the name of United Vision Marketing Firms (UVMF) has just made a rather hilarious press release, showing its interest in acquiring the well-known Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM).

It appears that the company’s CEO, the “self-proclaimed” Dr. Nono C. Pearson, a country-style rapper and an ardent supporter of the so-called “make country cool” movement in rap music, has made an offer to acquire all BlackBerry assets.

According to him, the deal is to be done by an all-stock acquisition, following UVMF’s IPO stock price.

Although this looks more like a bad joke, we’re pretty sure that there are at least several big companies with some interest in purchasing RIM. It’s just a matter of time until one of them offers the right amount for the deal.
