Eight seats, DVDs, fridge...and more

Tanks have been around for quite some time now, but nobody really associated them with anything else but the idea of conflicts and war. However, it would seem that the people over at the UK-based Tanks-Alot company have decided to turn this whole concept around and thus turned a very menacing-looking tank into a fully-equipped limousine.

Thus, the company took one armored personnel carrier and fiddled around with it, creating the "monster" you can see in the enclosed pictures. Granted, they've removed the military stuff from it, but the tank still looks pretty menacing, especially with that big turret on top. Moreover, it seems that this is no ordinary tank, since it's one of the 13 that were ever made and it also has quite a history of service, as it was used for patrolling in the area around the Berlin wall (or at least that's what the people from Tanks-Alot are telling us).

However, even if this thing still looks like a tank on the outside, the inside has been completely modified. It now offers enough room for 8 passengers, as well as a crew of 3 and has been fitted with such amenities as a smoked glass Fridge, twin DVDs and reversing cameras. Moreover, it seems that the modifications are far from being over, as Tanks-Alot promises that it will also throw in a jacuzzi, as well as some bling elements (as any limousine should have), namely up to 14 meters of neon tubes that will be installed underneath the tank.

Quite obviously, those willing to shock their friends or make a lasting impression at the party they're attending will have to fork out quite a hefty amount of money. According to the company, renting this vehicle will set you back anywhere from 1000 - 4000 pounds (2057 - 8228 US dollars), which is no small amount, but, after all, this is no ordinary limousine either. And as a conclusion, watch out, limo drivers, the big boy is coming to town and he'll crush you....literally!
