As a result of their partnership with Vivendi Games Mobile, Nokia will bring "Crash Bandicoot" on their N-Gage mobile gaming platform. This brings the old fight of good vs evil on the Finnish company's new platform, starting with this fall.

"Crash Bandicoot" brings fun, action and a crazy marsupial looking to save the world. The storyline is at least unusual and places the player in intriguing situations that he must handle in the fight against the bad guys. He must eventually take on "the big fish", which is the mad scientist, Dr. Neo Cortex. The struggle to achieve this proves to be highly amusing and entertaining.

"Vivendi Games Mobile is one of the most respected publishers in mobile gaming" considers Gregg Sauter, Nokia's director of third party publishing. "Crash Bandicoot is a gaming icon as well as a global powerhouse, having sold more than 33 million units worldwide. With its fun appeal to people of all ages and incredible graphics, the Crash Bandicoot franchise is the perfect fit for N-Gage", he further added.

The new deal is a highly profitable one for Vivendi too, as they have the chance of bringing an important game title on the devices of the leading handset producer. "We are excited to offer Nokia customers the opportunity to enter the thrilling world of Crash Bandicoot and play a number of award winning titles from the popular Crash franchise" said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile.

"Crash Bandicoot" follows the same lines as the popular video game series that has proved to be a great success in the past. Just as it happens with this type of applications, it was only a matter of time until it reached mobile phones too. The game will be available starting with this fall, on Nokia's new N-Gage mobile gaming platform.
