Ladies, gentlemen, geeks, this is something you have to see. Alien-branded Ixing or TEKUNONIA takes the PMP's mobility to another level.
The low-profile Chinese company has just popped out a portable media player which is definitely one of the smallest media players we have ever laid our eyes on. In fact, the device is so small you might mistake it for a cracker, a pretzel or
something else. It must be the brown color that makes me think about food when seeing this. Being only 5.6 mm thin, the portable media player can be easily lost in your jeans pockets.
When it comes to its capabilities, the player is said to be ready for lots of file formats, both audio and video, though allow me to doubt someone will actually dare to stare at a 3 min music video on a miniature eye-soaring 1.5 OLED screen display.
Too bad they're not giving any official specs on the formats, nor on the internal storage capacity. Still, besides the audio and video playback options, apparently the player can also view TXT files and image files, as well. Moreover, it will allow users to tune in to FM stations, perform some decent voice recording and set up wake up calls using the additional alarm feature.
The player's internal battery is fully rechargeable via the USB 2.0 connector or through the supplied charger. We do know the tiny media player comes with an integrated 2GB internal memory and wears a reasonable price tag.
However, the strongest part of the specs list is its dimension of about 70 x 42 x 5.6mm a piece. Oh, yeah, you can have yours for about 97 bucks a pop!
Just don't swallow it! I just wonder how much music this tiny device can eat. Damn it, they always forget to mention the most important part!
