The jury is out in the case of Richard Beasley, also known as the “Craigslist killer.” Reports say that the trial, which I also documented in March, has ended in a death sentence for the 53-year-old man.

Beasley was accused of killing three people in Ohio in 2011, after posting a job offer for farm work on Craigslist.

According to KDVR, he has been found guilty on counts of aggravated murder and attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery.

The attempted murder charge stemmed from the account of another man who was lured on said farm, but managed to escape. Scott Davis testified about being shot in the arm and making a getaway through a wooded area.

“You are a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” Davis has told the defendant after sentencing.

Meanwhile, Beasley has announced plans to contest the ruling and possibly ask for a “retrial.”
