Cradlepoint has just released a new firmware version for its MBR1400, MBR1400 v2, MBR1200B, MBR95, IBR600, IBR650 and CBA750B routers. This update adds support for Netgear AC341U and Pantech UML295VW modems.

Modem Edit button in Internet Explorer 8 along with the failure to expand Failback Configuration Settings in Connection Manger get fixed with this version.

On the other hand, the “known issues” part contains numerous titles in sections such as Wi-Fi as WAN, Wi-Fi, LTE or modem. Check out the complete release notes at the link below.

Updating requires that you log into your router (http://192.168.0.1 is the default address) and select the “Tools” menu in the top navigation options.

Next, select “Firmware” and then browse for the bin file available at the link below. Hit the “Upload” button and wait until the router restarts. If the update fails, try the online method.
