Cradlepoint has recently released firmware version 4.2.0 for their MBR1400, MBR1400V2, CBR400, CBR450, IBR600 and IBR650 routers. The update comes with a long list of changes and fixes, detailed for every product.

Over the previous version, 4.2.0 adds support for some new devices such as Sprint Franklin 3G/4G U770, Airtel Huawei E1731 (India), Orange Huawei E3131 (UK), Huawei E3231 (UK) and Huawei E3231 (UK).

New added features include NHRP (Next Hop Resolution Protocol) but only for MBR1400/IBR600/IBR650, DHCP relay and per-client web filtering and data usage for the routers named before.

GPS updates have been made for IBR600/IBR650. The GPS can now be configured to provide NMEA GGA, VTG, and/or RMC sentences.

Fixes have been made in the data usage UI page that now works properly. Hotspot usage statistics have been repaired, as well as the MBR95 connecting to MiFi 4620L WiFi as WAN problem.
