Cowboys and Aliens Was the Most Downloaded Movie on BitTorrent Last Week

Despite a less-than-warm reception, especially from the critics, Cowboys and Aliens is enjoying the title of the most downloaded movie on BitTorrent for the past week. Universal Pictures and DreamWorks must be thrilled.

Conan the Barbarian held the honor last week, but it has since slid down to the number two spot. Killer Elite moved up from the number seven spot to the number three.

There were four new entries in the top 10 most downloaded movies over BitTorrent chart, put together by TorrentFreak, including the eagerly awaited (by some) "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1."

It hasn't been so eagerly awaited by BitTorrent fans, it seems, since it only landed in at number seven. The other new entries are Immortals, Fright Night and The Thing.
