Cowboy Bebop: Tsuioku no Yakyoku Unlockables (PS2)

Cowboy Bebop: Tsuioku no Yakyoku is a video game developed by Banpresto Co Ltd. and published by Bandai Co Ltd. The game was developed for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony and for the original PlayStation. It was released in August 2005. The game is classed as an action adventure title, which is played from a third person perspective and is based upon an animation series which features the main characters in the release.

The game takes place in the well established Cowboy Bebop universe. The year in the game is 2071 and the Earth has been destroyed. Even so, humanity manages to live on, with its remains housed in the spaceship called Bebop. The main characters of the game are Spike, Faye, Jett, Ed, with their faithful dog Ein. Because of their space nomad status, they are forced to go on adventures and solve some difficult situations just to stay alive.

Cowboy Bebop: Tsuioku no Yakyoku adheres quite closely to the norms of the action adventure genre. There are sections which are straight beat-em-up combined with shooting elements and there are others where puzzle solving comes to the forefront. Players can select Spike, Jett or Faye, each having their own abilities; they have to work together to track down different wanted criminals. There is a lot of NPC interaction in the game.
