“Serious creative issues” make the collaboration impossible

Courtney Stodden, the tabloid fixture slash reality star who shot to fame at 16, when she married a 51-year-old man who was actually older than her father, is without a manager. Krista Keller, the woman who was the driving force behind her career, has quit.

Keller confirms it in a statement to Us Weekly, in which she cites “serious creative issues” for the decision. She insists that the mother-daughter relationship has not had to suffer because of them, whatever they might be.

Krista will continue as manager

Krista was the one who approved Courtney’s marriage with actor Doug Hutchison and then did her best to sell it to the media, effectively turning Courtney into “Teen Bride.” She also got her several stints on reality television and is believed to have gotten her to get a makeover to further encourage the Marilyn Monroe comparisons that Courtney was so fond of making.

Much like Kris Jenner, Krista stopped at nothing to keep her daughter in the limelight, whether that implied calling the paparazzi to the beach where she was at for a photo op, or getting her to pose in scantily attire for a variety of publications, or even finding backing for her short-lived and much ridiculed music career.

All that is over now, because of these “creative issues” that she refuses to elaborate on. However, Krista will continue to work as manager, she says in the same statement.

“I will also be on the lookout for people that I would like to manage to help them reach their goals in the entertainment industry. I plan to use my time now to help my husband, Reggie, with his Christian website, which is a ministry to uplift and inspire others to follow their dreams through faith,” she says.

Courtney’s new endeavor in the adult industry to blame

Krista is not saying a peep on what might have caused the fallout, and chances are Courtney will also be keeping mum. However, rumor has it that it was the latter’s recent decision to have an adult, homemade tape made public that caused the rift.

Initially, Courtney promised that she would never go down this route and that she would find other ways to stay relevant and get the fame and money she wanted.

However, as interest in her dwindled and she had exhausted all possibilities, she was forced to walk down the same path as former Teen Mom Farrah Abraham, staging the “leak” of this kind of material and then selling it to a distribution company.

Admittedly, this was too much even for Krista.
