14 DAY TRIAL // For months now Courtney Stodden, the woman who shot to fame by becoming a teenage bride married to an over-fifty actor, has been trying to hit it out on her own. It's finally happened and it's in the form of a web series called “Naturally Courtney” in which she explains that she's “more genuine.”
She told Fox 411 that the show was about “being me” and that “It’s an awesome opportunity to collaborate with World of Wonder [Productions] on ‘Courtney Naturally.’ Each ep [sic] is fun and outrageous [and] the best part is there is no filter.”
The buxom blonde became a newsworthy subject when she married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchinson in 2011, at the tender age of 16. While you do the math to calculate the age difference, we can report that the couple has since shockingly filed for legal separation.
Their reality-TV-documented marriage lasted only three years and many considered that Courtney only married for the fame, despite the fact that Doug seemed really in love. After their separation, Courtney moved into a guesthouse on the actor's property and she claims that she's been working on her career.
After unsuccessfully trying to push several reality series, she's now found a web series she can star in and which will, she hopes, land her more exposure. This new series is aimed at proving to the world that Stodden is more than a “dumb blonde”
The first videos reveal a very playful side to “Courtney Naturally,” as she tries to sing in a squeaky voice after ingesting some helium from balloons, as well as giving some sturdy advice on how to take the perfect “Stodden Selfie.”
The videos are also full of plenty of cleavage and legs that the blonde is certainly not shy about revealing and flaunting, though they're not the best piece of reality TV we've seen so far. In fact, they're quite the opposite and many have found them hard to view without cringing.
