“Teen Bride” is still as vampy as ever, now with darker locks

Like many people who go through a divorce, Courtney Stodden too felt the need to change something about her appearance to mark a new stage in her life, so she’s dyed her hair a darker shade and is no longer a blonde.

Attached to this article is a photo of Stodden’s makeover, but the Daily Mail has more. It also reports that Courtney showed off her new ‘do not on a red carpet as you’d expect but on a trip to a local supermarket in West Hollywood.

However, perhaps knowing that paparazzi would be there (perhaps she called them herself), Courtney did not fail to rise to the occasion, dressing up for a run for groceries like few other women would think of dressing: in a low-cut, very revealing red top, tight velvet jeggings, and sky-high platform boots.

She also had a face full of makeup and her hair freshly styled, and she made sure paparazzi got her best angles, as she pouted and tried to act all moody for the camera.

Those who follow Courtney on Twitter probably knew that a change was coming, as she’d teased them just hours before, though, contrary to her usual MO, she did not provide them with pictures as well.

“Big change today! Eek!!!!,” she wrote, adding, “Feeling rejuvenated & ready for the new year! Too early?”

Despite what you might think by looking at her, Stodden is only 19 years old and she shot to fame when she was yet to turn 17, after marrying a man who was actually older than her middle-aged father, actor Doug Hutchison.

The two made sure the tabloids got every juicy detail of their marriage from the moment they said “I Do” until just recently, when they announced they would be getting a divorce. Courtney has also been doing press rounds since the announcement, in the hope that she might finally get to launch herself as a reality star.

Among other things, she blamed the demise of the marriage on Doug’s age and her obsession with plastic surgery.
