“Nobody’s Daughter” delayed, financed by the most unlikely companies

If there was anything left about Courtney Love that still had the slightest chance to surprise us, this statement allegedly coming from an unnamed administrator of her MySpace official page must be it. Not only has Courtney’s upcoming album, “Nobody’s Daughter,” been delayed until February but, as it turns out, it’s sponsored by two companies very unlikely to get involved in the music business.

According to a post uploaded the other day by a so-called “administrator” of the singer’s MySpace page, the causes for which the album was delayed from January 1, as promised, to February 9 are made known to the fans. Work on it is not done yet but, once it is, the material will be one awesome album, if we’re to believe the poster. Moreover, we learn that over $30 million went into it, mostly coming from a tequila manufacturer and a company producing and marketing tampons.

“The artwork is pretty much done. Courtney has $30 million in sponsorships, from a prominent feminine hygiene/menstrual company and a prominent tequila company. And Courtney doesn't even understand that part!” the administrator wrote, assuring fans that the album is nearing completion and will meet the February 9 deadline without any more delays.

As for the rocker’s state of mind, which has been tabloid fodder for years in a row, more or less with good reason, the administrator seems to know a lot in this respect as well. Without explaining his/her connection to Love, the poster assures fans that she is fine – better than ever, and ready to get back in the game. “Courtney is sober, clean, classy and very elegant and sophisticated and super intelligent.” the post reads.

While assuring fans, once more, that Courtney will continue to keep them up to date with the developments on “Nobody’s Daughter,” the administrator also goes out on a limb to predict that this album will probably be better than anything the rocker ever released, the very essence of Love. “Courtney is going to deliver, she WILL not make you wait another year or 5, but I can tell you one thing... she will present you with the grandest gift of all if you are a true fan you will understand and appreciate the delays for Courtney is a perfectionist at her very best.” the poster explains.
