Lindsay Lohan may be struggling to get her life back on track but she can cross at least one thing off her to-do list: a sobriety coach. In a new interview, rocker Courtney Love claims she's helping LiLo kick addiction.

As fans must know, the freckled actress has been in quite a pickle for the past couple of years: with her career stalling, she had several runs-in with the law, and has been plagued by reports of alcohol and substance abuse.

Last time she was in court, she caught another lucky break when she was put on probation and community work, instead of being sent to prison for violating her parole.

Since then, she's believed to have been working hard on staying sober, doing the hours at community work and basically trying to get her back by proving she was reliable and responsible.

Love claims to have helped her with that first part, Independent.ie says.

“I’ve taken up Lohan because nobody else will. She’s further down the line than I was, because there was no [gossip website] TMZ then,” she is quoted as saying.

Granted, this is not the first time that Love namedrops a troubled star. In the past, she's said to have lent a helping hand to anyone and everyone from Pete Doherty to Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's daughter.

“It wasn’t that long ago when Kim Stewart was screaming, ‘Courtney, what are we going to do? Kelly Osbourne is blue on the floor!’ Kelly wasn’t doing that well back then,” Love said in an older interview, as cited by the aforementioned media outlet.

“For some reason, Kim Stewart also called me when Paris Hilton got pulled over for her last DUI. And Lindsay Lohan called me after she was arrested,” she said.

“The judge presiding over her case was the same judge who presided over mine. He was a very sweet man. I think he was an ex-alcoholic himself. I told Lindsay to just get it together and trust the judge, and Lindsay’s father called me for advice every day,” Love added.

As of this moment, Lindsay hasn't said anything about Love's apparently absurd claims.
