14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that Courtney Love is back on the right track again: not only is she teasing fans with a possible Hole reunion, is back in the studio working on new music and seems to have put her trouble past behind her, but she also has a man in her life.
Courtney is best known for being the window of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, but her love life has made headlines before, mostly because she simply can’t stop talking about her in interviews.
This time though, she’s keeping uncharacteristically mum, which could hint that things are really serious between her and her new man, who happens to be Aaron Sorkin, an Oscar and Emmy-winning director famed for his work in both film and television.
PageSix reports that the two met at the Chateau Marmont, the celebrity hotspot where she’s been staying while she’s in Los Angeles with business. They clicked instantly and have been seeing each other exclusively for some months: again, another sing that things are serious between these two.
“He is intrigued by Courtney’s wit, while she says Aaron is a great influence on her. Some people might think they are an odd couple, but she likens them to Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller,” the report notes.
A rep for Courtney was not immediately available for comment, but Sorkin’s spokesperson has already denied there is any truth to the report. However, that’s not uncommon for celebrities, who choose to date discreetly for some time before “going public” with their romance. Until that moment comes, denials are to be expected.
If this is true, Courtney would probably be Aaron’s wildest lover so far, even though he’s dated quite a few gorgeous and famous stars. Among them are actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, Kristin Davis of the “SATC” fame and ballet dancer Jacquelyn Reyes.
Sorkin also has a habit of writing his lovers into his scripts, so it should be interesting to see how this pans out.
