Even if Courtney Love vouched at the beginning of 2007 that she would never have another plastic surgery done (neither on her face nor on her body), she probably did not think at the time that many things can change in the course of a couple of months. Like, for example, the fact that she might not be happy with her new, reduced nose or puffy lips.
In a post on her official webpage, Love wrote in January that one of her New Year's resolutions was 'no more surgery for any reason other than medical until i really need it in my 60s'. But we all know about New Year's resolutions, don't we? I mean, they are things we usually believe in the moment we utter or think them but our determination to accomplish them tends to fade out in the coming months. So, Courtney is no exception.
The rocker uses the same means of communication as the first time to let her fans know that she had her face 'fixed' again, this time to make it look more 'natural'. Courtney admits that her new nose and lips did not fit her, because anyone could tell on the spot that they did not actually belong to her, so she decided to get on the doctor's table again and have them altered so as to be as before.
'I hated that nosejobby nose, it was like a little beak. I've had my nose fixed. It looks like the one God gave me so I'm happy not to have crazy lips and a crazy teensy unnatural little nose. All I care about is that my self esteem is limitless and intact, and that nothing and no situation affects my self esteem', she writes on the website. Hey, if it makes you happy, it makes us happy, too. Shame though that you had to pay all that money to get the face you had from the start!
