
The former NBA player and ex-husband of the beautiful Vanessa Williams has just signed a multi-episode deal that ensures him the spotlight again. For, Fox may have retired from the game, but it's no secret which is the next target on his list: Hollywood.
The one-hour long episodes for the FX drama 'Dirt', starring Courtney Cox-Arquette ('Friends') as the main character, the editor-in-chief of two top tabloids, will start shooting this month. An approximate airing date has been set for early 2007, although the project spent more than a great amount of time in the making.

The former basketball star will play the part of Prince Tyrese, a high-profile basketball player who experiences problems in his marriage. That shouldn't be so hard to play... But Fox has some previous experience in TV series, as he made guest appearances in 'OZ' and 'Love, Inc'.
'Dirt' is executive produced by Cox herself, along with husband David Arquette and writer Matthew Carnahan.
