Former "Friends" star Courtney Cox slammed rumors about her having an eating disorder because of her thin silhouette during the show.
Despite critics concernments that Cox's slimness would inspire young girls to become anorexic, Cox, 41, declared she doesn't feel responsible for any anorexia problems across the country and if she likes herself being skinny, that is how she's going to be.
"I don't really feel responsible. If I like myself a certain way, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm responsible for anorexia across the country.
I have never had any control over what anyone does, in any capacity. If I like myself at this weight, this is what I'm going to be. I don't have an eating disorder."
The actress alo confessed that things get distorted in the press:
"I remember one magazine said: 'Courteney Cox Talks About Her Bulimia.' I didn't even say a word. They asked me a question and I said: 'I wouldn't throw up if you paid me. Why would I?'"
