Meanwhile, BFF Courteney Cox is said to be getting ready for the altar run and she has good chances to beat Aniston to the punch.
Aniston and Theroux have been engaged for 18 months now and still a wedding is nowhere in sight. On the other side of the love spectrum, Courteney and her boyfriend Johnny McDaid, member of the band Snow Patrol, are very much in love and are having thoughts about walking down the aisle.
A source told Star Magazine quoted by Entertainmentwise, “Courteney and Johnny are crazily in love. They've moved in together and can't see any reason to wait for a wedding. They believe they're soulmates and this is the next step. It seems they'll tie the knot before Jen!”
Courteney has only been together with McDaid for just a couple of months, after having met through mutual friend Ed Sheeran, and coming out as a couple in November. But, they allegedly feel as if they've known each other “for a lifetime.”
“They've been to see venues and agreed on an idyllic castle on the west coast,” says the same source, adding, “And they've been talking about a date in spring.”
The other reason the two are keen on tying the know is because Courteney's daughter, Coco, is said to have taken a liking to her mother's boyfriend and now the actress is keen to offer her a strong family environment.
According to the insider, “Coco has met Johnny and she really likes him. It has convinced Courteney he's right for her. David has also met him and really likes him, too. Courteney gets on well with David's new girlfriend, Christina McLarty - who's expecting their child - and it means a lot to her that they can all be friendly.”
But while Cox is days away from saying her “I do,” Jennifer is said to be not as keen to have a big white wedding again. After her failed marriage with Brad Pitt, she looks pleased with just the engagement ring on her finger.
