They split in 2010 but all signs point to the fact that they’re still the best friends ever: Courteney Cox and David Arquette are among the few Hollywood couples who really go through an amicable split. At least, that’s what Courteney is saying.

The star was on Ellen DeGeneres the other day to promote the new season of her hit show “Cougar Town” and, in between chatting about moving to a condo, her aging pets and having to go number 1 on the balcony, she also talked about her ex husband.

“He's my best friend in the world. I love him. I appreciate David more now than I ever did,” Cox says.

“I mean... it's hard. I don't recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed. I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do,” she further says.

The two separated after 11 years of marriage amidst speculation that he was too immature for her taste and it was ruining the relationship. They have a daughter together, Coco.
