They say love knows no age, so having a proper wedding at the age of 90 shouldn't be a surprise for anyone. A lovely couple from Antioch proved that true love really has no limits when they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand after 72 years of marriage.

Bob and Mira Graves have been together since 1941, but they never had a formal religious ceremony or a real wedding party. They initially tied the knot on a whim of impulse during a trip to Reno on January 17, 1942, just before Bob was shipped off to war.

But like many young couples of their generation they only had a quick and simple ceremony, after dating for a few months, according to Yahoo News.

Now, Bob, 93, and Mira, 90, live at Antioch's Quail Lodge Retirement Home where they moved a month ago. On this year's Valentine's Day, they were made king and queen of the festivities.

However, when Quail Lodge's activities director, Jennifer Noble, asked them to provide a picture of their wedding day, they couldn't do it because they didn't have any.

When they got married in 1942 there were no flowers, no church, no cake, and of course, no photographer. "Nothing, just the judge standing there, we're standing here, and I think his secretary came in to be our witness," says Mira.

The personnel at Antioch's Quail Lodge Retirement Home and numerous East Bay wedding vendors joined their forces to plan the couple's wedding on Valentine's Day. Thanks to their generosity, Bob and Mira renewed their vows in front of their family and friends.

Their second wedding was really special, with cake, flowers, music, and pictures to match their outstanding, 72-year-long marriage.

"I think the miracle is that there are so many people and families that are splitting apart, it's amazing that they have remained so devoted," said Susanne Larson of His and Hers Formal Wear in Brentwood.
