This year, Blizzard announced Hearthstone, a card game based on the WarCraft universe and Heroes of the Storm, a multiplayer online battle arena featuring heroes from all of Blizzard's games.

Now it seems Blizzard is starting development on yet another title, about which no official information has been made available yet.

Blizzard director Michael Booth twitted that his team is “looking for a Lead Producer to help us create Blizzard's next awesome game,” linking to the official recruitment page.

That means that Mike Booth is himself working on the new unannounced Blizzard game.

The recruitment pages states that the team will be a “small and nimble” Hearthstone-like one, with the producer joining in in the leadership of a “small but mighty band of developers.”

A second job opening is listed on Blizzard's career page, for a 3D weapons artist for the same Irvine, California office where the Lead Producer is sought after.

The keywords on that job listing are “swords, firearms and other weapons of destruction” and “a diverse range of equipment, vehicles and mechanical characters.”

Michael Booth was previously the CEO of Turtle Rock Studios, developer of popular first-person shooters Counter Strike: Condition Zero and the Left 4 Dead series.

Considering the previous experience with Dustin Browder and real-time strategy title StarCraft II, it would be safe to assume that the next awesome game is likely to be a shooter, according to Blizzplanet.

Browder left EA to join Blizzard in 2005, and five years later unveiled StarCraft II as its game director. Browder had previous experience with real-time strategy games Command&Conquer: Red Alert 2, Command&Conquer: Generals and The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth series.

For now, details on Blizzard's next game are open only to speculation.
