Sick and tired of paying large amounts of "cash" for the AK-47 or for the MAC-10? No need to worry from now on. Counter Strike: Source weapons buying system has been updated and the official launch has been announced.

Valve representatives announced that the weapons pricing update for the first person shooter will be released on Wednesday, November 1, if everything goes as planned. The first price correction will happen on Monday, November 6, but until then, all the prices will start at their default values.

Counter Strike Source is an updated version of the original Counter Strike mod for Half-Life using the same Source engine that was used in Half-Life 2. Counter Strike is a team based game, where two teams (counter-terrorist and terrorists) face each other. It is a very popular game in all countries, as players organize themselves in "clans" and they have even created a Counter Strike league, for the more experienced players, called PGL.

In each round of the game, the two teams have to complete an objective or they have to eliminate the other team in order for them to win, whichever comes first. Terrorists have to place the bomb at a bomb site, and once this happens, the other team, namely the counter-terrorists, has to defuse that bomb. If they fail to defuse it, the bomb will go off and the round is won by the terrorists.
