A small update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has just been released by Valve and it celebrates the game's second anniversary with quite a lot of hilarious things, including party hats for the chickens, confetti and balloons when a bomb gets diffused, and the introduction of the Zeus stun gun to the competitive mode.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive just saw its third major eSports tournament take place last week in Cologne, and even if Valve's developers were present on the scene, they wasted no time in launching a celebratory update for the game to mark its 2-year anniversary since the original launch in 2012.

The patch, as dissected by Reddit, introduces party hats for the chickens that can be seen running around the different levels in the shooter. Confetti and balloons appear once a bomb gets diffused and a celebratory party horn can also be heard.

The Zeus stun gun is now available in the competitive mode, not just in casual or deathmatch, and it costs just 100 in-game dollars, instead of the traditional 1,000. It also fires not just a deadly shock but also confetti and a party horn.

The new patch is already available in the game and is expected to keep the celebratory mood until next week, when another update is expected for CS:GO.
