The cub does not have any brothers or sisters, its mom therefore tends to spoil it

Keepers at Zoo Salzburg in Austria are happy to announce that a cougar cub born at this facility in late December, just on Christmas Eve, is growing stronger every day.

Information shared with the public says that the tiny predator, pictured above, is a male. It was born to 14-year-old Winnie, and does not have any brothers or sisters.

Add to this the fact that is it absolutely adorable, and it is not hard to guess that its mom is not just doing its best looking after it, but also spoiling it.

When the cub was born, it weighed about 400 grams (little less than one pound), and its eyes were closed. It first opened them when it was about a week and a half old, Zoo Borns tells us.

As noticeable in the picture above, the tiny big cat still sports the spotted coat it was born with. Its caretakers say that it will get rid of it and embrace a more serious look once it is about six months old.
