Cortex Command, a game that was initially launched for Linux with Humble Indie Bundle 2, has finally reached version 1.0.

Cortex Command 1.0 for Linux is developed by Data Realms and it features real-time tactical battles combined with a turn-based managing layer. It can support up to four players at once, on screen.

The game benefits from an advanced physics engine, which combined with the 2D pixelated graphics provide players with a great experience.

In Cortex Command, humans have given up their bodies and now live up only as brains. They have the ability to control robots, machines, and even ships.

The game also features fully destructible environments, an in-game buying menu for various upgrades, and built-in editors and modding tools.

Even though Cortex Command reached version 1.0, the developers have promised to further improve the game. If you are interested, check out the official website of the game.
