Microsoft Netherlands appears to have hinted at that in a recent tweet

Cortana, the personal digital assistant that Microsoft has announced as part of Windows Phone 8.1, appears set to make an official appearance in the Netherlands in the not-too-distant future.

The feature has been announced only for the United States as of now, though Microsoft has said that it is working on making it available for other markets out there as well, including the UK and China.

However, it appears that Cortana could make its next stop in the Netherlands, at least this is what a tweet coming from Microsoft Netherlands suggests.

Said tweet teases Cortana on Windows Phone 8.1, and WPCentral notes that the feature might indeed be released in this country sooner rather than later.

However, no specific info on when that might happen has been provided as of now, and chances are that we’ll have to wait for several months until details on the matter are unveiled.

Cortana was designed so as to provide users with the possibility to easily interact with their Windows Phone 8.1 devices by voice.

The feature is available only in the United States as of now, and users with handsets running under Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview can enjoy its capabilities.

However, with a few tricks, which include setting your location to US and the phone’s language to English, you can get Cortana even if you are living in other markets around the world.
