In a time when 4K resolutions become more and more mainstream and the machines running games at such demanding pixel rates get hotter and slower, Corsair promises that the Bulldog will be properly ventilated and also kept extremely quiet through an evolving set of liquid cooler kits that will become more diverse after launch.
The fun part is that Hydro Series H55 liquid cooler and HG10 graphic cards cooling Brackets will become available soon, almost encouraging customers to keep upgrading this furious little dog. This way, Corsair will be respecting the basic PC principle of continuous upgrade and customization of user machines.
In addition, keeping in line with other PC customization principles, the Bulldog will work just fine with any OS you throw at it, be it Windows, Linux or SteamOS.
Upgrade it, but only on our terms
The fun part ends when the upgrades are limited by corporate contracts and boundaries imposed by Corsair. This way your range of available graphic cards will come only from Nvidia, manufactured only by MSI and will include, at launch, only GTX 980, Titan X, GTX 970 and the newly released GTX 980 Ti. AMD users and owners of older graphic cards, you can keep walking. This dog is one picky little snob.
Finally, we can expect this new pure-bred gaming machine to deliver a true gaming experience on your best gaming sofa, enjoying what Corsair tells you to enjoy at the best quality three combined hardware manufacturers can sell you.
Those who want to experience unorthodox customizations and hardware mixes can try something else.
The Bulldog will be available around October. Liquid coolers and the new PSU will be sold separately.
