Today, Corsair has outed a new and stable driver package targeted at its Vengeance 2000, 2100, 1500, and 1500v2 headsets, namely version 2.0.26, which includes several fixes that improve the compatible devices’ overall performance and stability.

Specifically speaking, this fresh update fixes the Dolby 5.1 surround volume problem, resolves several Windows XP and 8.1 compatibility issues, and improves the positional accuracy in surround mode. In addition to that, the release also resolves 8kHz, 16kHz, and 44.1kHz sampling rates problems.

As for the compatible platforms, this package can be applied on systems that run under Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, both 32- and 64-bit architectures.

When it comes to installing the new version, make sure you first remove any previous driver and only then apply this latest update, and also ensure that you do restart your computer if this step is requested by the installation.
