Corsair Launches Fully Buffered 667MHz 2GB/4GB Memory Kits for Mac Pro

- Upgrade kits are available immediately from Corsair’s authorized distributors and resellers world-wide

By: Filip Truta, Apple News Editor

Corsair, well known for producing high performance computer and flash memory products, such as the memory stick you carry around in your pocket all
day, has rolled out its new high-density Memory Line for Mac Pros. Huge demand from owners of Apple's desktop system for higher performance memory kits has prompted Corsair to release new, fully buffered 667MHz memory solutions that are now available in 2GB (2 x 1GB modules) and 4GB (2 x 2GB modules) DIMM kits for $165 USD and $225 USD respectively.

"We are excited to extend our Corsair memory solutions to support the high performance Mac Pro Desktop Systems," said John Beekley, VP of Applications at Corsair. "These modules offer end users the ability to greatly maximize the amount of memory in their Mac Pro," Beekley added, says an official report which also reveals that Corsair Mac Pro memory modules are qualified at the Apple Test Labs in California and are 100% compatibility guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. That should convince one to grab 'em.

Corsair confirms that Mac Pro fully-buffered Memory Modules are immediately available in the form of a 2GB Kit - 2 x 1GB modules ((VSA2GBFBKIT667D2) for $165 USD and a 4GB Kit - 2 x 2GB modules (VSA4GBKITFB667D2) for $225. In addition to the new Corsair Mac Pro desktop line of memory products, the company responsible for computer memory, primarily for the computer enthusiast crowd has also launched the first high performance memory modules made especially for Mac laptops recently. They are the industry’s first low latency modules specifically aimed at the latest MacBooks and MacBook Pros.

Mac Pro owners looking to upgrade to Corsair's fully buffered kits can look them up at Corsair’s authorized distributors and resellers world-wide. The kits are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, Corsair confirms, complete with customer support via telephone, email, forum and Technical Service Xpress.
