Corsair is determined to enter into all the segments of the PC industry, so it has recently unveiled its first gaming keyboard and mice products, including two such peripherals that are targeted at MMO and RTS fans.

Starting with the new keyboard, this is called the Vengence K90 and, just as the mouse, is constructed out of aluminum, while its mechanical switches are based on the Cherry MX design.

According to Corsair, these are supposed to require the least amount of force to actuate and each key has a 4mm of total travel without producing any sort of clicking sound. The keys are also backlit thanks to no less than 90 individual LEDs with three levels of illumination.

Compared to regular keyboards, the K90 is capable of detecting up to 20 simultaneous keystrokes and includes 18 customizable macro keys with support for three different sets of macros.

Moving to the M90 mouse, this also gets the same sort of macro functionality as the keyboard, but, this time, there are “only” 15 programmable buttons available.

An on-board flash memory lets you save your macros in up to six profiles that can be switched on-the-fly just as is the case with the resolution of the 5700 DPI Avago ADNS-9500 laser sensor.

“As enthusiastic gamers ourselves, we’ve developed precisely the products we always wanted, with a level of quality we have not seen before,” said Ruben Mookerjee, VP and general manager of the Components Business Unit at Corsair.

“We’re confident that our Vengeance gaming keyboards and mice will give you a competitive edge. Whether you prefer the immersion and intensity of MMO and RTS, or the adrenaline-fueled combat of FPS, our goal is to help you win,” concluded the company's rep.

The Vengeance K90 gaming keyboard and the Vengeance M90 gaming mouse will retail for $129 and $99, respectively, once they become available in October of this year.
