A local TV broadcast in Corpus Christi, Texas has caught on tape the effects of the blast having leveled homes in the area after a natural gas buildup.

As I wrote, three people were injured and several homes incurred structural damage prompting massive evacuations on Friday, July 12.

A live news show captured the sound and vibration of the powerful blast. You can see the anchors on KIII-TV visibly rattled by the explosion and trying to hide their emotion as they go on with the program.

Meteorologist Kristin Diaz jumps in her seat as she hears the sound and anchors John Thomas and Jane Monreal attempt to keep calm.

They originally thought that the explosion took place in their studio, as it was powerful enough to be felt all over town.
